range of experience gained from the pharmaceutical industry, science
and finance.
Executive Management
Anthony Walker PhD

Prior to co-founding Onyvax in 1997, Anthony Walker spent ten years
as a management consultant, specialising in the pharmaceutical and
biotechnology industries. His practice focused on business strategy
and corporate development. During his eight years at Arthur D. Little,
he was appointed a European Director, responsible for the London-based
pharmaceutical practice that he founded.
At The Wilkerson Group, he had responsibility for its UK consulting
practice. He has an intimate knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
through numerous assignments for major pharmaceutical companies.
He has also worked closely with over twenty biotechnology companies,
and has produced Expert Reports for a number of UK IPOs.

Professor Dalgleish holds the Foundation Chair in Clinical Oncology
at St. George's Hospital Medical School. A clinical researcher of
international repute, he has made significant contributions to the
study of the immunological basis of AIDS and to the field of cancer
vaccines. Professor Dalgleish is an advisor to a number of biopharmaceutical
companies and is Principal Investigator in relevant clinical trials.
He is a co-founder of Onyvax.
He is Professor of Oncology (Visiting) at the Institute of Cancer
Research, Consultant Physician (Hon) at St. George's Hospital.
Christopher Beattie BSc MBA

Chris Beattie has experience in developing pharmaceuticals after
a 20 year career with companies such as Bayer and Fisons and latterly
in the biotechnology sector with Xenova. Whilst at Xenova, Chris
was involved in the development of compounds for treating cancer.
Stephen Ward, PhD
Director of Development

Stephen Ward has over 13 years experience in biologicals Research
and Development. Prior to Joining Onyvax in 2001, he contributed
to the recombinant immunotherapy and antigen delivery development
programme at Medeva Vaccines Group, London. Stephen's previous academic
research at St Bart's Hospital Medical School and Imperial College,
London focused on recombinant vaccine design.
Rob Johnson
Head of Business Development

Rob Johnson is a trained biochemist and joined Onyvax in 1999.
Since then, he has held a number of commercial positions within
the company and is currently responsible for business development
activities. He is the primary contact for establishment of research
collaborations, in-licensing of complimentary products and out-licensing
discussions with potential marketing partners.
